Hello everyone,
As promised, mid-May brings the arrival of Appetizer EP Vol.2. Five of the tracks are produced by my Background Noise Crew comrade, Egypto Knuckles. Two tracks are produced by Poorboy. It's available physically if you see me around town, and is available right here digitally. I hope you all enjoy it.

It is true. The Appetizer EP Vol.2 is basically done. I'm just tying up a couple loose ends. It'll have it all ready to go late-April. It's been a long road getting this one out, but it's almost over. In the meantime, I'm leaking a song called "Back Burner", which will be on the EP. Peep: http://www.sendspace.com/file/0e3yir
Hello everyone,
I've been relatively quiet as 2009, but am certainly not getting lazy. I've just been continuing to ride for my album Clench, Grit, Breathe. Visit the 'Product' section of this website to purchase it.
I fully intend to remain visible in 2010. A second volume of The Appetizer EP has been finished for a while and will arrive in the spring time of 2010. A collaborative EP with my Background Noise Crew comrades ToneKrusher Smith and Phingaz is also in the works. It will come out in 2010, but exactly when has yet to be decided.
I have also begun my journey as a beat maker and am also in the infant stages of putting together my third solo album, but further news on both of those fronts will come at a later date.
In regards to this site, I will continue to keep the information current, as well as continue writing my blog "T.Q.D's Corner." I currently post once a month, but the posting will be a tad more frequent as time goes on. I'd be foolish if I didn't also acknowledge the fact that Background Noise Crew has launched an official website for you to keep up with all members of the crew. www.backgroundnoisecrew.com is where you can find it.
Last, but certainly not least, I need to congratulate my Background noise Crew comrade Analyrical who recently released his album First Date. His album can be purchased at the Background Noise Crew website.
...and that about sums it up for now. In the words of Jerry Springer: take care of yourselves and each other.
After years of simply forwarding this domain elsewhere, I'm proud to have a permanent home for thequietdude.com. It's been a long time coming and I'm glad it's here. Feel free to look around and do come back, as I plan on updating the site as new developments occur.
Thank you for visiting thequietdude.com and I hope you come again. Also, be on the lookout for the official Background Noise Crew website coming soon (backgroundnoisecrew.com).
Sincerely,
T.Q.D
